Enjoy the estate

To recharge and enjoy the surroundings, the Royal Factory invites you to discover:

  • The park

The Royal Factory is a haven of peace bisected by the Coney River. Stroll through the park and admire its centuries-old trees, its chapel (1735), and its deep 19th-century icehouse. Thanks to the new information panels, discover the secrets of our remarkable trees and their rare species. Follow the green lilies: this marked trail of approximately 1 km takes you on a complete circuit of the estate, in the heart of an exceptional botanical heritage.

  • The Chapel

This historic chapel has hosted many prominent figures: Julie-Victoire Daubié, the first woman to earn a baccalaureate in France, born in 1824, and Camille de Cavour, a key figure in Italian unification, who stayed at the estate in 1839. Step inside to find peace and admire its new stained-glass windows depicting biblical scenes. Masses are still celebrated here every year.

Renovated in September 2026, the new exhibition traces the history of the estate since the 18th century. Free and open to all from 9am to 6pm, it also offers insights into the life of the first woman to earn a baccalaureate in France and showcases the various film shoots that have taken place there since 2005.
